A series of bomb blasts targeting the homes of Iraqi police officers on Wednesday killed two children and wounded nine people northeast of Baghdad, officials said. Police said a total of six explosions were caused by roadside bombs planted near houses belonging to security officers in Baqouba as their families were sleeping. A medical official in Baqouba hospital confirmed the casualty toll, according to a report of the Associated Press.
