7 Insurgents Killed in Eastern Afghanistan

At least seven insurgents were killed in eastern Afghanistan during operations led by Afghan and coalition forces killed over the past 24 hours, the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said in a statement Saturday.
One NATO soldier was also killed in an improvised explosive device attack in southern Afghanistan on Friday, ISAF said in a statement released late on Friday.
