Flights cancelled as French airport security crews strike

Flights were delayed or canceled across France Saturday, just as thousands were hoping to travel in advance of next weekend's Christmas holiday, due to a strike by airport security workers, dpa reported.
About 90 flights had been canceled at Lyon's airport, while
passengers were facing long waits and delays in Paris' Roissy-Charles
de Gaulle airport.
The nationwide strike has been called by the country's 10,000
airport security workers, who are demanding higher wages and better
working conditions.
