The Municipality of Qatif Governorate has recently signed a contract worth SR 12,800,000 for the project of flood prevention and rain water drainage in Al-Khaleej neighborhood in Sihat, Qatif. The project is the fifth one to be signed by the Municipality in this field for continuing construction of infrastructures in Qatif. The Mayor of Governorate's Municipality, Eng. Khalid bin Ali Al-Dossari, has pointed out that the total costs of the projects implemented in the Governorate amounted to SR 72,808,858, noting that the projects included drainage networks in various areas in addition to awarding the project of rain water drainage in Qatif to a national company.
