U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has made a surprise visit to Somalia, his office announced on Friday. Ban made the stop on his way back from climate talks in Durban, South Africa and becomes the first secretary-general in 18 years to visit Somalia. While in the capital Mogadishu, the U.N. chief announced that the United Nations will move its political office for Somalia from Nairobi, Kenya to Mogadishu in January.
