A minibus parked near the British embassy in Manama exploded Sunday early morning. This came in a press conference held here today by the Bahrain Interior Ministry Spokesman Colonel Salah Salem. "A blast (came) from the left part of a bus parked near the British embassy in Ras Rumman district in the Bahrain capital, Manama," Colonel Salem asserted. He also said that the blast resulted in the separation of the wheel of the bus and smashing of the front and side windshields from the left part as well as the occurrence of damage to the front of the bus. The Bahraini security spokesman added that the security forces rushed immediately to the site and started investigation. For its part, a spokesman of the British Embassy in Bahrain stressed that no casualties were reported in the early morning explosion as quoted by Reuters.
