United States Ambassador to the Kingdom James Smith highlighted today the clear visions and strong commitment to expansion and economic diversification shown by Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud. This came in a statement issued by the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh on the occasion of launching the activities of Saudi-US Business Opportunities Forum in the U.S. city of Atlanta, Georgia, scheduled to start its three-day deliberations tomorrow under the joint auspices of the leaderships of the two countries and the U.S.-Saudi Arabian Business Council. Ambassador Smith said that trade and commerce are a fundamental pillar at the heart of Saudi-US relations since the start of the relations between them, adding that the forum is an opportunity to strengthen these relations to be added to the efforts of the Minister of Trade and Industry, Abdullah bin Ahmed Zainal Ali Redha to expand the bilateral trade relationship. For the past 18 years, the Council is seeking to promote the bilateral trade relations between the two countries as the Foreign Trade Committee, with its works and mission, remains a constant strong partner in the development of these relations. --MORE
