US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton was travelling to Myanmar on Wednesday after a brief visit to South Korea. "The United States stands with our ally and we look to North Korea to take concrete steps that promote peace and stability and denuclearization," Clinton said in the South Korean city of Pusan, where she took part in a conference on international aid. Hillary Clinton is the first US secretary of state in 50 years to visit Myanmar, according to a report of DPA. She is scheduled to hold talks with President Thein Sein and other officials on Thursday, before flying to Yangon for a dinner with opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi, the 1991 Nobel laureate who has spent 15 of the past 21 years under house arrest.
