Bahrain's Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Deputy Supreme Commander met here yesterday German Chancellor Angela Merkel. During the meeting, they discussed the current issues on the international scene, especially the changes taking place in the Arab world and the need to harness gains for the benefit of the (Arab) peoples and their stability. The meeting also focused on the areas of strengthening bilateral cooperation and coordination between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Germany in all fields. On his part, Crown Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa expressed his appreciation for the German support to the steps undertaken by the Kingdom of Bahrain, reiterating that his country has approved the march of democracy and reforms and that its progress will continue to build on the achievements made during this decade. For her part, the German Chancellor praised the decision to form the Bahraini independent fact-finding Committee.
