Gunmen on Monday attacked a polling station and a truck carrying ballot papers on election day in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Several people died in the attacks, witnesses and officials said. There were also unconfirmed reports by human rights groups of violence and voter intimidation in the country's restive east, dpa reported.
