AlHijjah 27, 1432, Nov 23, 2011, SPA -- The Jordanian government expressed here today appreciation of the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Members States for accepting Jordan's application to join the group. In a statement at the House of Representatives, Prime Minister Awn Al-Khasawnah expressed gratitude to the GCC member countries, noting that his country is tightly tied to the GCC member countries leaderships and people through deep fraternity relations and objectives. Al-Khasawnah stressed that Jordan is an integral part of the Arab and Islamic nations and that his country would encourage the free movement of people, goods and capital among the GCC boundaries as well as cultural exchange.
