AlHijjah 27, 1432, Nov 23, 2011, SPA - Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khojah received here today the ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Omar Al-Saqqaf. During the meeting, the ambassador highlighted the success of Hajj season this year and the gigantic efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to provide services to pilgrims. The ambassador commended Saudi-Malaysian relations, appreciating the important political role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in maintaining international security and stability; criticizing at the same time the risks to the Kingdom of terrorist plots, in a desperate attempt to influence its international decisions; and stressing his government's support for the action and decisions taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in order to defend itself. The ambassador noted Saudi-Malaysian economic cooperation and invited Saudi businessmen to invest in Malaysia. For his part, Dr. Khojah praised the leading role of Saudi companies investing in Malaysia, especially in the fields of telecommunications and petroleum industries, citing the pioneering role played by Saudi Telecom and Petro Saudi and other companies and emphasizing the depth of relations that combine the two major Islamic countries. He also praised the economic progress and political stability enjoyed by Malaysia -thanks to the wise and moderate policy of Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdullah Bin Saleh Al-Jasser and Director General of Saudi Press Agency Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein.
