UAE, Finnish Regulators to Cooperate in Nuclear Issues

AlHijjah 24, 1432, Nov 20, 2011, SPA -- The Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (STUK) of Finland signed here today a cooperation agreement in the areas of radiation safety, nuclear safety and security, and safeguards.
Under this bilateral arrangement, the two nuclear regulatory bodies will exchange information, experience, staff and technology relating to ensuring the safe, secure and peaceful uses of nuclear applications.
