AlHijjah 24, 1432, Nov 20, 2011, SPA -- The head of Jordan's flagship airline said that Royal Jordanian will restart five weekly flights to Tripoli, ending a 10-month halt, according to AP. Hussein Dabbas said the flights to the Libyan capital will resume on Thursday, following Libyan assurances over aviation safety and that the airport is ready to receive international flights. He said Sunday that RJ might increase the number of flights later, expecting active traffic involving Jordanians working in Tripoli and Libyans seeking medical treatment in Jordan. RJ resumed three weekly flights to Benghazi on Sept. 15. Before the crisis, RJ used to operate five weekly flights to Tripoli and two to Benghazi.
