A lot of tourists visit it for its attractive design making it a "Saudi Peace Pearl" in the heart of Europe. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the Federal Republic of Germany Dr. Osama bin Abdul Majeed Shobokshi said that the presence of the distinct building of the Saudi Embassy in Berlin is to serve the nation and citizens and indicates the care given by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to embassies of the Kingdom overseas, reflecting the status and the importance of the Kingdom and its weight and the extent of importance of relations of Saudi Arabia with Germany in particular and with all of the countries of the world. The Ambassador said that the embassy was built in a civilized manner keeping the Islamic originality of the building, the high German taste and the requirements of the modern era in the design of the building which consists of four floors above ground and two below. High and modern technology was used in its building.
