AlHijjah 23, 1432, Nov 19, 2011, SPA -- The 13th Crans Montana International Summit on Transnational Crime was concluded in the Swiss city of Geneva. The delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the event was led by Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior, Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Salem. During the four-day summit, Dr. Al-Salem highlighted developments, actions and measures undertaken by the Kingdom recently in the fight against terrorism, terrorist financing and money-laundering. Most important among them was the signing by the Kingdom in September 2011 of the agreement on the establishment of the United Nations' Counter-Terrorism Center, which was called for by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in a meeting of the Summit devoted to the discussion of the issue of contemporary global approach to security. --MORE
