Saudi Mission to UN Welcomes A Resolution Condemning Attacks On Diplomats

AlHijjah 23, 1432, Nov 19, 2011, SPA - The Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations welcomed a resolution approved yesterday by United Nations on condemning terrorist attacks on internationally protected persons.
In a statement issued last night, the Mission pointed out that the resolution submitted ??by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to UN General Assembly was sponsored by 60 countries and approved by 106 countries.
The Mission confirmed that the international community should always take clear and strong positions against the violations of international law and United Nations' resolutions.
The Mission commended an agreement signed between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Nations last September for the establishment of "United Nations Counter-Terrorism Center" with the support of the Kingdom to enhance international cooperation and the exchange of information in combating terrorism in all its forms.
