AlHijjah 21, 1432, Nov 17, 2011, SPA -- At least six people were killed due to harsh storms in the Southern United States, as tornadoes ripped through Alabama, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Louisiana and Mississippi, according to the National Weather Service on Thursday. Numerous houses were badly damaged and the region has seen some power outages. In Davidson, NC, one adult and one child died when their house collapsed, according to official reports. In South Carolina three people died. Another death occurred in Georgia.
