AlHijjah 17, 1432, Nov 13, 2011, SPA -- Two terror attacks in northwestern Pakistan killed 16 people and injured nine others Sunday, regional officials said. Both attacks occurred in the province of Khyber, the first being a mortar shelling and the second a remotely detonated bomb hidden in a donkey cart in a market, UPI reported. At 10:20 a.m., a mortar shell hit a house in Sipah, killing five adults and three children. Soon after in the Teerah Valley, a bomb exploded in a market and killed eight people, regional officials said. There were no immediate claims of responsibility.
