AlHijjah 16, 1432, Nov 12, 2011, SPA -- Activities of the Saudi-German Youth Forum, organized by the Foreign Ministry, will begin tomorrow in Germany. The Forum will continue its works for 10 days as part of the initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for dialogue among followers of different religions and civilizations. The Forum will include 22 young men and young women, supervisors and officials from the private sector, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy. It will be led by Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Economic and Cultural Affairs Ambassador Dr. Yousef Bin Trad Al Sadoun. Its activities will be held under the supervision of Prince Mohammed bin Saud bin Khalid, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Information and Technology Affairs. The Forum's activities will include field visits to a number of universities, scientific centers and cultural and governmental institutions in the cities of Hamburg and Berlin, and organization of dialogues and discussions between Saudi and German young people on issues related to the themes of the Forum covering renewable energy, alternative energy and the environment. The Forum will be concluded at the headquarters of the Saudi Embassy in Berlin with the Saudi and German youth participants providing a presentation on their views and suggestions on issues relating to the future of alternative and renewable energy, the environment and climate change, and possible ways to develop bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Germany.
