UN Envoy Arrives in Sanaa

AlHijjah 14, 1432, Nov 10, 2011, SPA - United Nations envoy Jamal bin Omar arrived here today on a visit to Yemen.
He is to meet with government and opposition officials to explore the "best avenues" to end the months-long crisis, state news agency SABA reported.
"My visit is part of the UN efforts to achieve political settlement. I hope it will provide a chance to resolve the outstanding differences among the political sides in Yemen," bin Omar told Yemeni News Agency "SABA".
