AlHijjah 13, 1432, Nov 9, 2011, SPA - Indian External Affairs Minister S.M, Krishna said today that "lack of confidence", which dominates the relations between India and Pakistan began to shrink, a week after the granting by Islamabad to its neighbor (India) the Most Favored Nation (MFN) status. The Press Trust of India (PTI) quoted the Indian External Affairs Minister as saying that the lack of trust with Pakistan is shrinking. Krishna spoke about the positive atmosphere between the two countries and called for the adoption of a common strategy to combat terrorism in the region. The Pakistani government has ratified the proposal that grants India the MFN status and aims to facilitate bilateral trade. It is also an additional indication of (distinct) improvement in the (friendly) atmosphere between the two countries.
