11 arrested in Bulgaria after seizure of 75 kilos of heroin =

AlHijjah 5, 1432, Nov 1, 2011, SPA -- Bulgarian police arrested 11 people and seized 75kilos of heroin in a raid on a drug-smuggling gang, the interior ministry in Sofia said Tuesday according to dpa.
The gang was allegedly transporting the heroin from Turkey to Western Europe in two cars.
One of the two cars was stopped at the border toward its northern neighbour Romania.
Earlier Tuesday Bulgarian authorities incinerated 526 kilos ofseized narcotics, with an estimated street value of 22 million euros(31 million dollars).
Over the previous 11 years, the Balkan country destroyed 28 tonnesof various drugs.
