Prince Mishaal Bin Abdulaziz: Festival of King Abdulaziz Award for Pageant Camels To Be Held On Time

AlHijjah 4, 1432, Oct 31, 2011, SPA - Prince Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, President of Allegiance-Pledge Commission and Chairman of Supreme Committee of Festival of King Abdulaziz Award for Pageant Camels, announced today that the Festival's 12th session will be held on time, noting that Jury Committees will start their works on Saturday, 25 Muharram, 1433 AH and the closing ceremony of the Festival on Thursday, 25 Safar 1433AH.
In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Prince said, "We announced over the past two days the postponement of the Festival's 12th session in grief over the death of late Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz (May Allah bless his soul), especially as he has been one of the most prominent supporters of the Festival; but we have received requests from the princes, the sons of Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, not to postpone the Festival and to hold it as scheduled on time, as postponement will bring about material damages for the owners of camels who have started their preparations for participation in the Festival for a long time, and for other participants in heritage events of the Festival.
