AlQa'dah 29, 1432, Oct 27, 2011, SPA -- Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General for Military Affairs, and other princes received at Al-Aziziah palace in Riyadh this evening Vice President Joe Biden of the United States and the accompanying delegation. Baden conveyed the condolences and expressed sympathy of President Barack Obama of the United States to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, the royal family; and the Saudi people, on the death of Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General. For his part, Prince Salman thanked the U.S. President for his noble feelings, appealing to Allah Almighty to bestow his mercy upon the soul of the deceased. The audience was attended by Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister, and the U.S. ambassador to the Kingdom James Smith.
