AlQa'dah 27, 1432, Oct 25, 2011, SPA -- The truce committee announced Tuesday ceasefire in the capital Sana'a. The committee, assigned by President Ali Abdullah Saleh and Vice President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi, said that the ceasefire would take effect as of Tuesday, 3:00 pm. The ceasefire aims to pave the way for carrying out the truce committee's activities, including removing armed manifestations, eliminating military checkpoints and barricades, and withdrawing from buildings, schools and general facilities in order to return the situation in the capital to normal. The committee called on all sides to abide by the ceasefire and its timeline blueprint to assure the return of all military troops to its camps and the armed men out of the capital, Yemen News Agency (Saba) reported.
