AlQa'dah 27, 1432, Oct 25, 2011, SPA - Saudi-Kuwaiti Borders' Demarcation Technical Committee concluded the two-day deliberations of its 19th meeting here on Monday, to determine border markings of the two countries. Lt.General Zameem Al-Swaat, the Director General of the Borders Guard headed the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the meeting while the Kuwaiti delegation was led by Major General Abdullah Yousuf Al-Muhanna, the Assistant Under Secretary for Operations at the Ministry of Interior. Major General Al-Muhanna said the meeting dealt with completion of all concrete works for the signs' marking the border except for the coastal three signs. It also covered the adoption of certain additional works concerning the specifications of the three coastal markings. He explained that the work is underway by the technical team in the field and that the project company is preparing work maps and atlas for comprehensive and final settlement of the project scheduled for completion by the end of December (this year) following the completion of the collection of information regarding works development and features of border markers and the designation of sites that will be on the final maps.
