AlQa'dah 24, 1432, Oct 22, 2011, SPA - Prince Khalid Al Faisal, Governor of Makkah region, chaired here today the 2nd Session of 4th meeting of Makkah Regional Council. During the meeting, the Prince discussed with the Council's members the agenda containing the minutes of a meeting of the Committee of projects and facilities containing means of activating the initiative of the Agricultural Development Fund aimed at making a quantum leap in the efficiency of the agricultural sector in Saudi Arabia to strengthen and increase the welfare sector and the development of rural areas by creating an environment for the sustainable farming. The session also dealt with discussions on development projects, King Abdullah Economic City in Rabigh. The Governor also glanced over efforts to implement the infrastructure projects of the city and instructed (officials) to provide him with comprehensive periodic reports in this context.
