AlQa'dah 21, 1432, Oct 19, 2011, SPA - Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom and Ireland has said that the development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the outcome of social and cultural changes in the society and reaffirmed the Saudi government's readiness for listening, discussing and working in the best interest of the Saudi citizens. This came in a speech of the Prince during a working lunch on Tuesday hosted by him at the chancery of Saudi Embassy in London for the Chairman of the Committee for Defence of the British Parliament James Arbuthnot, Minister of State in the Ministry of Justice Crispin Blunt, the former Defense Minister Bob Ainsworth, Lord Rogan, Member of Parliament Daniel Koizinski, a number of members of the committees on foreign affairs and defense in the British Parliament and other members of Parliament. Welcoming the members of the House of Commons and Lords, the Saudi Ambassador hailed the strong ties that bind the two countries, which have been manifested over decades in bilateral works and partnerships in various fields of international affairs. He noted that some British newspapers have had misconceptions about the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which have been taken as facts in certain circles in the British society. --MORE
