AlQa'dah 20, 1432, Oct 18, 2011, SPA -- Turkey will take in about 10 of the Palestinians freed in a swap deal with Israel, an official said Tuesday. Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said Turkey agreed to receive the freed inmates to contribute to the deal which he said would help advance the Middle East peace process, AP reported. Palestinian officials had previously said some 40 prisoners would be deported to Turkey, Syria, Qatar and Jordan, but it wasn't clear why that was being done or whether the freed inmates would remain in those countries. Davutoglu said some 10 inmates would be flown to Turkey on a Turkish plane from Cairo, but added the figure could change depending on how many of the Palestinians want to come. -- SPA
