First Group of Jordanian Pilgrims Head to Saudi Arabia Wednesday

AlQa'dah 19, 1432, Oct 17, 2011, SPA - The first group of Jordanian pilgrims will leave for Saudi Arabia on Wednesday while more groups will follow later, said Minister of Awqaf (Endowments) and Islamic Affairs Abdul Rahim Okour.
The minister told the Jordanian news agency "Petra" that arrangements for this year's Hajj season is in line with a plan put up by the ministry.
He lauded the efforts undertaken by the Saudi Consulate in Amman to grant visas to Jordanians for their journey to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj.
