AlQa'dah 19, 1432, Oct 17, 2011, SPA - Governor of Makkah Region Prince Khalid Al-Faisal has announced that the Mina Expansion Project will start next year and will see the Tent City able to accommodate additional pilgrims. In a press statement after the launch of the “Hajj is worship and civilized behavior” awareness campaign, Prince Khaled said a number of experts will prepare a broad-based study on services and facilities for pilgrims, adding that the results of this study will be included in the plans of the King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Project for the Development of Makkah. Authorities would combat all kinds of violations and prohibited practices during the upcoming Hajj such as unauthorized pilgrims squatting on roads, the Governor said. --MORE
