Emergency Meeting of Arab Foreign Ministers Started in Cairo

AlQa'dah 18, 1432, Oct 16, 2011, SPA -- Under the chairmanship of Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani, an emergency meeting of the Arab League Council at the level of foreign ministers was held here today.
The meeting discusses the developments in Syria at a request submitted on behalf of the GCC member states ??by the United Arab Emirates, the current GCC president.
The Kingdom's delegation to the meeting was headed by Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting was attended by Arab League Secretary General Dr. Nabil Al-Arabi.
