AlQa'dah 17, 1432, Oct 15, 2011, SPA -- U.S. President Barack Obama, saying the country "can't afford this lack of action," said Saturday he would begin in earnest prodding Congress to pass parts of his jobs package starting next week. President Obama used his weekly radio address to criticize Senate Republicans for blocking consideration of the comprehensive jobs plan last week. He signaled he would seek to pin blame on Republicans if individual components fail to clear Congress in coming weeks. "The majority of the American people support the proposals in this jobs bill," President Obama said. "And they want action from their elected leaders to create jobs and restore some security for the middle class right now."
