AlQa'dah 12, 1432, Oct 10, 2011, SPA -- Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of the Eastern Region, received at his office in Dammam today visiting Executive President of the power grid authority known as Interconnection Authority the Gulf Cooperation Council member states Eng. Adnan bin Ibrahim Al-Mehaisen. During the meeting, Al-Mehaisen presented copy of the annual report of the authority's activities for the year 2010, marking the 10th anniversary of its establishment. Phase I of the power grid project witnessed the link of power networks in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait with the second phase adding the United Arab Emirates to the GCC power grid, Al-Mehaisen said.
