AlQa'dah 12, 1432, Oct 10, 2011, SPA -- Thirty people, including 27 schoolchildren, were injured Monday morning when a bus collided with a bridge railing in the western German city of Siegen, dpa reported. A police spokesman said the bus had been traveling too quickly, but noted the accident could have been worse had the bus jumped the railing and fallen into a stream below. Instead it hit an embankment. There were also three adults among the injured, including the bus driver. Nine of the injured required hospitalization. About 40 people were on the bus at the time of the accident.
