AlQa'dah 11, 1432, Oct 9, 2011, SPA - The Ministers of Information of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held a meeting here today. The Minister of Culture and Information, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, headed the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the meeting. The meeting was attended by GCC Secretary General, Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al- Zayani. In his speech, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the Minister of Public Works and Chairman of National Information Council in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), who presided over the meeting, called for following up the implementation of the information strategy for 2010- 2020, approved by GCC leaders and for achieving its objectives as a framework reference to direct the media in the field of activating common information works.
