AlQa'dah 11, 1432, Oct 9, 2011, SPA -- On behalf of Prince Mohammad bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Assistant Minister of Interior for Security Affairs, lieutenant general Zmaim bin Jwaibir Alsawat, the Director General of the National Guards, opened yesterday evening the Third International Symposium on Sea Disaster Management organized by the General Directorate of the National Guards in the Eastern Region. The symposium is held in Khobar under the title "Piracy: Coordination of Confrontation Efforts." Speakers at the symposium focused on issues pertaining to sea safety and security. The audience watched a documentary on sea piracy and Saudi National Guards' work and development. An accompanying exhibition On the fringe of the Symposium, an exhibition featuring sea safety equipment was also opened.
