AlQa'dah 8, 1432, Oct 6, 2011, SPA -- Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja said that the meeting of the Ministers of Culture of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states held here today discussed a number of issues and recommendations to be reported to the meetings of GCC leaders, asserting the importance of such meetings to elaborate on every development at the Gulf arena. In a press release, following the 17th meeting of the GCC ministers of culture, Dr. Khoja said: "The meeting discussed very important topics as well as the cultural strategy and cooperation among the GCC member countries,". He also welcomed his GCC member states counterparts in their next meeting, which will be held in Riyadh next year, adding that the GCC minister of culture agreed to increase the number of creative figures to be honored to three from each member state, instead of two as of the coming year. -- SPA
