AlQa'dah 5, 1432, Oct 3, 2011, SPA -- As many as 20 people reported being hurt during severe turbulence on two flights that landed in Boston, Massachusetts, officials said Monday. Massachusetts Port Authority spokesman Phil Orlandella said 11 people on a Lufthansa flight from Charlotte, North Carolina to Munich, Germany reported being hurt after turbulence forced the airplane to be diverted to Boston on Sunday night. Earlier, a Lufthansa spokesman said five people were injured on the flight and two were hospitalized. The jetliner was on the ground for about 90 minutes before continuing on to Germany with more than 260 people aboard. Earlier on Sunday, nine people on a JetBlue Airways flight from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Boston reported injuries caused by turbulence. Nobody on the flight was hospitalized.
