Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate of Oman, was chosen as Capital for Arab Tourism in 2012, while Manama, the capital of the Kingdom of Bahrain, was chosen to host the occasion in 2013, it was reported here today. The Arab Tourism and Antiquities ministers also requested the Ministry of Tourism in Palestine to provide the next meeting with information about historical sites in the Palestinian territories. The meeting fixed March 2012 as dateline for bidding for hosting the event in 2014 and 2015. The Arab Tourism Ministers prize for Touristic Quality 2013 was allocated for touristic training institutes and colleges. The council's next meeting will be held in Iraq on 30 May 2012.
