King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain expressed happiness to visit Saudi Arabia and meet with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. King Hamad said, "We are pleased that today we come to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to meet with our brother the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud in the context of our mutual communication and consultation to strengthen the fraternal cooperation between our two countries and our two peoples in various fields and at all levels." In a press statement made by him after his arrival in Riyadh today on a visit to the Kingdom, he congratulated Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Saudi people on celebrations of Saudi Arabia's National Day and expressed his wishes of further progress and prosperity. He said, "We take this opportunity to express our appreciation and gratitude for the contents of the speech by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques yesterday in the opening of the third year of the fifth session of the Shoura Council, which embodied the firm positions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia supporting the Kingdom of Bahrain to maintain its security, stability and national unity and stressing the two countries' deep-rooted brotherly relations." The king of Bahrain stressed that the experience of the Gulf Cooperation Council and the agreements and projects made under its umbrella are the best proof of a firm desire to continue the process of cooperation in all areas to achieve the aspirations of its peoples adding that the security of the GCC countries is one indivisible part and that it is an integrated entity that rejects any interference in its internal affairs.
