The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance and Chairman of the Supreme Council of Charitable Societies for the Memorization of the Holy Quran, Sheikh Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, chaired here today a meeting of the Council in the presence of heads of charitable societies for the memorization of the Holy Quran in various regions of the Kingdom. The meeting discussed a number of topics on the agenda, including licensing of five branches of the societies as well as the societies' achievements during the past period with regard to the memorization, intonation and interpretation of the Holy Quran. -- SPA
