13 Killed in Indonesian Boat Sinking

Thirteen people were reportedly killed Saturday when a boat sank off in the coast of Madura island, East Java, according to media reports.
According to dpa, police and residents found 13 bodies floating on the sea after conducting a search. The boat sank after a wedding party nearby, Detik.Com news portal reported.
Twelve people were rescued earlier, reported Detik.Com.
"We are currently trying to identify victims," said Ahmad Supandi, a search-and-rescue officer from Sumenep regency, quoted by Detik as saying.
