Two people were killed and 15 injured Tuesday in a car bomb blast outside a compound of government building west of Baghdad, a local official said. The car bomb, which went off in Anbar city, was followed by two suicide bombing attempts, Mohamed Fathi, spokesman of Anbar provincial Council said. Police forces killed the bombers before they were able to detonate their belts. The compound houses the provincial council and the main police station in the city, according to a report of the German Press Agency "DPA".
