Saudi Arabia to Boost Organic Farming, Says Official

The Organic Agriculture Administration of the Agriculture Ministry will participate in the 2011 Saudi Agriculture Exhibition which will begin tomorrow in Riyadh.
The exhibition will also include the participation of the project of the development of organic agriculture "GIZ" and the Saudi Society of Organic Agriculture, "SOFA" in addition to some organic farmers who show their organic products to visitors of the pavilion.
The general supervisor of the project of organic agriculture and the Secretary General in charge of the Saudi Society of Organic Agriculture Dr. Saad Al-Khalil said that the pavilion of organic agriculture for this year brings together farmers of organic production and marketers of organic products under one roof to boost organic farming in the Kingdom.
