Jewish settlers ran over a disabled Palestinian on Sunday and abducted another on Saturday night in the West Bank. A Jewish settler Sunday ran over a physically disabled Palestinian man on the main road in Beit Ummar, a town north of Hebron in the southern West Bank, and fled the scene, said a local official quoted by Palestine News and Information Agency "WAFA". Spokesman of the National Committee Against the Wall and Settlement in Beit Ummar, Mohammad Awad, said that Natheer Sabarneh, 36, was hit as he headed to work and sustained injuries to his head and body. He was transferred to a hospital. Jewish settlers, under Israeli army protection, abducted a Palestinian man on Saturday night from his vehicle along the road between Aqraba and Yanon, villages east of Nablus in the northern West Bank, according to local sources. Witnesses said the whereabouts of the Palestinian man remain unknown.
