A small, crude bomb injured six people Saturday night at a private hospital in the Indian city of Agra near the famed Taj Mahal, AP quoted police as saying. They said the homemade bomb shattered windows and sent glass flying in the reception area of the Jai hospital, about 2 miles (3 kilometers) from the 17th century monument. Police cordoned off the area and were investigating, but said it was too early to say if terrorists or a criminal gang might be involved. Police inspector P.K. Tiwari said six people were being treated for minor injuries. India has ramped up security since Sept. 7, when a briefcase bomb killed 12 people outside a New Delhi courthouse.
