A suicide bombing at a funeral in north-western Pakistan on Thursday killed 25 mourners and wounded 60, officials said. According to dpa, the attack took place in the Samar Bagh area of Lower Dir district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, where about 200 people were attending the funeral of a pro-government tribal elder. Ghulam Nadir, an official at the districts' main police control room, said so far 25 people had been confirmed dead and 60 injured, some of them seriously. Saleem Marwat, the district administrator, confirmed it was a suicide attack that targeted people from the local Aman Lashkar. Nobody claimed responsibility.
