Taiwan's Defense Ministry said it is searching for three pilots aboard two reconnaissance aircraft which crashed on a training flight, AP reported. The Ministry said the F-5F and RF-5E jets took off Tuesday night from an air force base in the eastern county of Hualien and soon disappeared from radar screens. It said troops have been dispatched to search for the pilots. The Ministry did not provide details on how the accident occurred. Local media say witnesses saw the two aircraft slam into a hillside and that parts of the planes were found on a nearby highway. -- SPA
